What’s the process for upgrading my SDS Security system or extending a contract that is expiring?

With SDS Security, your service agreement will automatically renew, so you don’t need to worry about the risk of going without home or business security.

If you’re ready for an upgrade or feel it’s time for a change, the SDS team can advise on a security solution that is most suitable to your needs.

Our team can provide valuable guidance on the latest technology, products and smart home solutions, with their decades of experience in residential and commercial security.

A system upgrade starts with an assessment of your current security fit-out and consultation of the protection you need, before our experienced team will provide a solution and quote for the upgraded fit out. Once agreed one of our qualified engineers will carry out the works, fully demo and handover the system and leave you with an up to date and compliant security solution.

Can You Keep Your Security System When Moving Home?

When moving home, it’s important to find out your moving policy for your home security systems, including contracts, moving fees, and whether or not you can take your equipment with you.

Contract Conditions?
At SDS Security, we are happy to allow people to transfer their maintenance agreement to a new property.

Moving Fees?
We will need to do a takeover of the system in the new home (assuming it already has an alarm). This has a small fee attached as we check the system, reprogramme it, change batteries and demo. If there is no system in place then a new system is required which we would quote for.

Can I move my security system/ products to my new home?
Yes this is possible but it depends on the type of system and the two properties involved. We can discuss all the options with you prior to the move to find the best solution for you.
